Also, I don’t know if you guys want to see genderbent characters that I have made such as characters from Uncharted and I even have characters from lis2 genderbent. Show some love if you guys really want to see it, in fact I will show you a few pictures of female Rafe who I named Rae but her full name is Rachel as well as Sam and or Samantha Drake. I thought they came out pretty good especially Rae.

Here they are together, I ship them a lot already and I promise to show more pictures.

I love how she came out as well but I struggled a lot with her eyes but overall she came out pretty good, let me know if you guys want to see more of them.

"What?"

If Emily had been taken aback by the Burkes' announcement, the Graceys' announcement absolutely baffled her. It sent her reeling, and for a moment, Emily couldn't help but wonder if perhaps she was in the middle of the dream. Perhaps it was still the eve of the twins' birthday, and she was still fast asleep in bed, her head going wild after a long, arduous day of preparations for the party. Surely there was no other logical explanation for not just one life-changing announcement, but two, was there?

But ultimately, something told Emily that she was wide awake, and thus she dismissed the notion that the entire day had been nothing more than her imagination going wild as she slumbered after a hard day's work.

So then, what other explanation could there possibly be for such unbelievable luck?

Could...could this be nothing more than a trick in poor taste, an insensitive Halloween jest that Dorian and Elizabeth were pulling on them? Such a theory was dismissed the second it came to mind: neither of them would ever joke about such a matter. It was far too grave a matter to joke about.

So then, did that mean that it was all true? Was there truly going to be another baby in the mansion?

The entire table erupted into cheers, and Lon and Erika both shot up from their seats, leaving behind all of their gifts in favor of running over to their godparents and catching them in a tight embrace. Once the initial shock had passed, Emily too abandoned her chair and made her way over, grinning from ear to ear as she gave each of her closest friends a warm, tender hug.

"That's wonderful," she exulted, her big, cerulean eyes misting over as she held Elizabeth close. "Congratulations, both of you: we're so happy for you! You're both going to make amazing parents!"

Lon could barely contain his excitement as he hopped up and down, inquiring, "Is it a boy or a girl?"

And it was very clear that this was the best gift the children could've gotten that day: After blowing out the candles and having a little cake, Lon and Erika tore into their mountain of gifts with gusto, finding all manner of delights, ranging from storybooks to dolls to costumes for dress-up to a pair of lovely watercolor sets, just to name a few. But while these gifts were delightful, and there was no denying the pair's excitement over them, it was clear that their grandparents staying at Gracey Manor was the most wonderful gift of all.

And while the festivities got underway (with Lon eagerly joining his great-uncles and Wilhelm in a little bobbing for apples, and Erika asking June and Josephine if they wanted to make some spooky arts and crafts with her), Dorian saw an opportunity to speak to his best friend, saying, "I have those fabric designs I'd like you to look at, if you don't mind."

"Oh, not at all!" Randall nodded, setting aside his slice of cake as he took the designs and looked them over, only for his brow to knit together: Bottles and rattles? Little storks? Teddy bears, stars, and moons in pastel pinks and blues?

"Dorian, these are patterns for baby clothes," he frowned. "Why do you want-!!!!"

It was at that moment that it hit him like a ton of bricks, his eyes widening and his jaws dropping open as his head whipped back to look at a smiling Elizabeth and a grinning Dorian. Randall spluttered for a moment, trying to get the words out, but all he could manage to do was point to Elizabeth and stutter out, "-You are?"

"Yes," she grinned, as he then pointed to Dorian, sputtering, "Y-You...you mean...?"

"We do," the young master grinned as he squeezed his wife's hand, saying what he and Elizabeth had been itching to tell their best friends all month long:

"We're expecting!"

what's your otps and nopts? i see you like others so im curious ;)

oh, good question! usually in a fandom i’ll pick one ship and stick to it, so i wouldn't say i truly have other otps.

for notps, it kind of depends. most ‘big’ harry-centric ships i'm either disinterested or flat out not a fan of them. i’m also not interested in het ships (this includes genderbends), so i typically avoid those. with tom/vee, i'm a bit more flexible with ships since he's such a fun character and there’s a lot more ‘uncharted territory’ to explore there.

i'm still definitely willing enough to read/write (almost) anything given the right take on it! my friends know that if i find an idea objectively interesting enough, i am even willing to write things i dislike writing 😭 such is the curse of having WIPs that sprout like weeds and refuse to die (like weeds).

i will say i am having fun with my tom sr/james potter fic though. it’s like tomarry 2.0 but with more himbo

Shoe Design: Juuzou from Tokyo Ghoul

This year’s Labor Day weekend I will be attending my very first convention: San Japan! I’m extremely excited that in my excitement I added a new cosplay to my line up, a Fem-Juuzou from Tokyo Ghoul. I really liked how his color scheme is almost like Kid’s so I’m not walking into uncharted territory and since I made the decision to go the genderbend way I plan on using a skirt for my Juuzou. Now, instead of attaching or painting on the pattern he has on his pants onto the skirt I decided to get that pop of color with custom made shoes. This isn’t something new. I’ve done custom shoes for myself before for my Adrienne (Adrien from Miraculous Ladybug). But here are the steps I took in making my shoes for Juuzou.

I got these hightops from Rue 21. If you are looking for things to repurpose, simple tops, shoes, even jewelry and eyewear, consider checking places like Rue 21 or even Forever 21. I recently found a pair of glasses that would be perfect for a Yuuri Cosplay. All you would have to do is paint the frame blue. Anyway, not what this post is about but there’s my tip for you.

I bought yellow and a deep wine fabric pain to customize these shoes. Remember while looking for paint colors to take a reference picture with you. Don’t be afraid to ask for help as well. I asked not only RHCD but like two other people if the wine color would work for the details. They all said it would and it ended up being perfect! Asking is never a bad thing. Even if you put it out to the community. I’ve seen many cosplayers ask for help and they get a good response most of the time.

Painting the shoes was fun and tedious at the same time. It’s the details that get me every time. But with patience and a few thin coats I end up with something that looked like this:

I was so pleased with how solid the color turned out looking. It looked so clean and even. But now came to part I was seriously nervous about. The design.

I sketched out two different sizes of the patten before choosing the smaller one knowing that it would fit better on the shoes.

Sorry for the dark picture. But using the stencil I made from the pattern I drew I carefully outlined the pattern onto the show with the wine fabric paint. Doing this on both sides I ended up with this:

This is not the finished product. I still have the laces to finish. Once they are done I’ll post a simple outline on how I made them and show off the complete shoe design. Thanks for reading. Hopefully this inspired someone to try this out or create a shoe design for another character!

Expectations VS Reality Cosplay Edition 😂 😂 I had a lot of fun shooting in Thailand, it was a lot more challenging then I'd thought it would be! The ocean was a particularly fickle bitch trying to get the right shot. I think about 99% of the shots we got look more like the bottom one than the top 😂 I have far, far, far too many outtakes!
